meercatmum · 19/02/2012 23:05

my dd who has a number of emotional problems has just been threatened by so called friend on Facebook saying she needs to watch herself at school tomorrow - Is this something I should contact mum of her friend directly on behalf of dd or pick up with school tomorrow? Advise please ... Dd not seen this message yet

I'd tell the school.

Isn't the advice these days not to approach parents?

workshy · 19/02/2012 23:08

depends if you are friends with the mum -and I mean really good friends!

I would tell the school unless you think you would get a positive response from the friend's parent

Tortington · 19/02/2012 23:11

i would delete the account tbh, report to school

meercatmum · 19/02/2012 23:24

Am not close friend of parent so think best course of action is to pick up with school... Thanks for points made

Take a screen shot of the threats for when it gets deleted and everyone tells you you are fibbing. Tell the school and the girl's mother. I have been there - kick up a fuss!
