Oh no replies - mine hasn't passed yet but I'm already worried .
I'm sure it's common ....
Some insurance policies include a monitor - which I guess might curb the over confident .

i had the same problem with my ds. he passed his test a year ago and was caught speeding. i was so worried, but managed to find a company that put a tracker on his car. that way i knew what he was up to and it actually made him more careful with his driving because he knew that i knew what speeds he was driving down the back lanes
the website is www.teentrack.co.uk

hope that helps

Shock you can put trackers on cars?
I am lucky, my dd is just 10 so we've a few more years to go. I hope I don't react the way you have, but fear I may.
OP, can't you just think that he would not have passed if he wasn't competant and really drive home the drink driving and speeding dangers?

thanks for the messages. kreecher, there's one thing knowing he's passed and another sleeping at night!!! i'm not sure we ever stop worrying about our kids.

i'll have a look at that website. anything that helps him be safer on the roads and stop me worrying is good enough for me
xx
