How do you get greasy dirty teens to wash?

How can you get them to see what other people see? Black heads, greasy hair and general grottiness?

we have an 8 year old version of this :P hates the shower hates to wash, he already has to wear deodorant, we try get him into the shower is excuse is 'but i had one at mums' i hate to think what he's gonna be like when a teen :S :S :S we bought him shower gel for christmas... he now won't get OUT of the shower :P so have nice soaps and stuff and let her have a shower!! baths are way too much of a hassle just have like towels down to catch the water :P i know i very rarely have a bath coz by the time i've ran the thing i could have had a shower

My ds isn't keen on washing or changing his clothes. He is only 12, and not really that smelly yet, but tonight we had quite a fight about him taking of the t-shirt which I bet he has been wearing for days (he swears it was clean this morning). He likes to wear six or seven layers, so it's difficult to tell what's been next to his skin. Shower wise we don't allow any TV, computer or video games until it's done, and although he prevaricates he gets in there in the end.

you have to tell her she smells im sorry its the only way imo the blackheads might not be part of her scuzziness but it doesnt help i got dd2 some facial scrub in a fancy tube for xmas with some moisturiser she seems to be using it although she does have acne but wont take the antibiotics sigh she is improving and she is 14 soon thats when dd1 seemed to turn the scuzzy corner , You are going to have to turn up the tough love i get dd2 fizzy bath things etc and he is getting better , and i started the room frisking to get the ikky pants and socks ,

Well she's slightly better since returning to school actually wanted me to dry her hair or finish it off with my Babylis big hair and seemed to like having shiny hair. We can't do the shower, tax bill to pay Damn it but she's actually bathed every other day . Baby steps!
