Help, my 12 year old, is currently 5'7" and still growing !! She has size 8-8.5 feet and getting school shoes is a complete nightmare (she also has wide feet). She has now outgrown her favourite Nike Hi Top trainers but still insists on squeezing into them as we can't find anything in her size to replace them. I have posted this on 'Style and Beauty' thread too, but hoping that someone can recommend where to get trendy shoes her size (most large wide fitting shoes are not very trendy and she will not wear something she has seen her grandma wearing - fair enough). Thanks all...

Look on Long Tall Sally website, also Tall Girls, Katie Long, Next.
Dd thankfully seems to have stopped at a size 8 but I am a 9 to 10.
If you are feeling flush, Crispins is fab.

I'm finding lots more places are starting to do size 9 - DD is a wide 9. Next, New Look, Evans all do nice stuff. Mind you she wore nothing but Converse and Vans for about 4 years.

i have the same problem especially for school shoes that are fashionable enough for her to wear, She has a size 8 very wide foot .. We found some cheapos in Primark, dont last her long but at the price they charge it doesnt matter if i have to buy a few pairs a year .. other DD is a size 10 she's quite happy with mens trainers lol

Thanks everyone, I knew I could rely on Mumsnetters to come up with some suggestions, don't know why I didn't post on here before :)
