Anxiety in a 13-year-old

Our DD seems to be going through a very anxious, worried patch lately. She has been doing a lot of rowing, circuits and army cadets etc. Plenty of exercise but it seems to leave her very tetchy and anxious. The least little change to routine sets her off. Nothing we do is right for her.
Will this pass? Is she just exhausted?
For example, if the slightest thing is missing at home, she gets frantic about it. Eg a favourite pen or piece of stationery. I try to keep track of her stuff but she still goes into a frantic state if she can't find her worksheet for HW or something.
