Which shaver?

Ds 14 has just started to develop a moustache, not ready to shave it just yet but have no experience (my own luxuriant handlebar moustache is dealt with by Veet!) what is the right step to take.
Electric shaver or wet shave? Those with ds' who have been through this please help.
Thank you.

DS (13) uses his dad's Gilette mach 3 razor. He hasn't had any cuts or anything so far. I'm thinking of an electric shaver for xmas but on researching subject, found that according to the chaps on www.extratuffmenuseshavers.com, that electric ones unless vvv top of the range, result in ingrowing hair, and facial rashes. So it'll be another xbox game and some deodorant as usual this year

DS has his own wet shaver, I think it's a Gillette Max 3 like the last OP.

He got used to it really quickly and hasn't cut himself yet in a couple of years of shaving.

He looked so much cleaner when he got rid of the bumfluff.

This is one thing I hoped to avoid but as a single mum I have to do it. I will try Gillette Max 3.
Thanks for the replies :)

Honestly, it's really easy. DS's dad was away when he had his first attempt, or I would have asked him to do a demo, but it really isn't rocket science!

You dont know my son Grin he would make a mountain out of a molehill, bless him.

I got my ds a small battery operated phillips shaver....he likes it he uses it about once a fortnight....keeps the bum fluff at bay.

I bought my eldest an electric shaver - he didn't get on with it - perhaps because at the start the hairs aren't as coarse? He finds a wet shave much better and easier to do.
