13 year old viewing porn

I have found out my 13 year old son has been looking at porn sites on his ipod, should I be worried and should I mention to him that I know??

Similar issues with both ds1 and ds2 at this age - it's quite normal to be curious so I wouldn't worry at all, but it is disturbing what can be accessed on the internet - not like the "good old days of Playboy mags"! I would let him know that you know. I explained to mine that I know it was "normal" to be curious but I personally find it demeaning to women and didn't want it under my roof. I also said I could check their online history at any time (they learn how to get round that though). I would also put family blocks on all internet access until he's much older. He may still be able to access stuff at friend's houses, but at least you know he can't at yours. Mine are 18 and 16 and we occassionally find evidence of stuff, but hayho, they're adults now!!
