Ok ds is 17 Was at 6th form college but has jacked it in. To be fair he hated it from day 1 bad attitude and attendance and never got his EMA etc as he was always late and so on. Tutors all liked him said he was talented etc but was on a road to failing. He left 3 weeks ago and has given out his CV and applied for endless jobs. He has one interview monday in a sports shop so fingers crossed. He is going back to another college in Sept and ultimately wants to go to uni. This no money and nothing to do scenario has really had a good impact He has seen how hard ir is and (his words) how boring. He has zero money now and we don't know whether to start giving him his allowance again What do you think? I was only thinking £10 a week as he does need to keep looking for work .We buy all his clothes etc
