For those of us suffering with exam-stress-by-proxy!

DD2 is doing AS levels. Is NOT enjoying biology but found it slightly less dire than she anticipated today. However she did get stuck on one question...

q (roughly) 'how can we ensure that the bird X will breed with the bird Y when put in the territory together?'

DD's answer:
'Make them shake hands then have lots and lots of sex...!'

She says she was bored....

I am prematurely aging..Grin

I'd worry she's been watching X-rated Sesame St.
Since when did birds have hands?

It'll end up on one of those websites full of daft exam answers - she will be famous :o

This made me laugh out loud and reminded me of our exam moment last week. The conversation went something like this:

(7.45am on the way to catch the bus)
M: what exams have you got today?
DS: 'Calculator Maths, Physics and Geography'
M: Do you feel prepared? (DS has done ZERO revision!)
DS: oh yeah...

Car goes quiet, about 10 minutes later:
DS: Er Mum, you haven't seen my calculator, have you?

It was all I could do to stifle the scream until he got on the bus. We await the results with baited breath......
