DS threatened

DS2 (16) has been dating a boy for a few weeks. It turns out the boy's parents are religous and the boy's brother grabbed DS's arm and said something like "I know what the f you are and you aren't to come here or see my brother again."
DS2 is terrified. He is usually pretty confident about himself but this seems to have shaken him. The other boy hasn't been in touch since.
Don't really have a question, just a sense of not sure what to do. His confidence really seems knocked. The boy goes to the same school but is in a different year - as does the boy's brother.

Keep an eye on it. Presumably your DS isn't pressurising the other boy into this relationship so the OB is free to chose who he wants to date.
It is a difficult situation, given the religious aspect. Just try to support your son (it sounds as if you are) as much as possible and if it escalates, contact the police.

Does the other lad know about his brother's actions? I would ask your DS to make it clear that he has been warned off.

Thanks for your replies. I was just feeling very low when I wrote this.
DS1 sort of came to the rescue and warned off the OB's brother. Turning into a farce really. But DS2 seems happier now his big (albeit by one year) brother is looking out for him. Both of my sons are gay and, on the whole, pretty comfortable with themselves but if sometimes makes me feel a bit irrelevent.
