A few questions as I am confused.

Is it stopping from April onwards?
Should I have filled in a form?
Did they ever decide to make it 'joint household income'?

Thanks in advance! :-)

If your DS is staying on to 6th form at schoo of going to college you can stil get Child Benifit fpr hi,. You have to phone the child benifit department and tell them that he is staying on. Ypu can actaully get child benifit for a young person until they are 20 if they at college doing a course that is up to A level or equivelent.

mumblechum1 · 31/03/2011 07:39

I thought that was only if you were on a low salary?

mumeeee · 31/03/2011 23:46

No it's not just if you are on a low salary it is for everyone. can get it. We have just got an extention of the vhild benifit for my 19 year old as she is still at college doing a GCSE level BTech course and she will be the equivelent A level one next year.

mumblechum1 · 01/04/2011 07:52

Oh goody! Will have to find and check the letter - I just assumed it was stopping because we're both higher rate taxpayers.
