Thats me gritting my teeth and nnnnngggggggggggggggggg ing thru them for fear if I open my mouth I may never stop bawling my 17 yo dd out. OMG where does this "you owe me everything and I owe you NOTHING" mentality come from?!

ha ha! I feel your pain. Glass of wine at the bottom of the garden/top of house/in loo/anywhere with a lock always helps I find :) It will pass. Mine are (almost) human again occasionally so there is hope

Have you read the book 'DIVAs and door slammers' great book for advise on teens - however one of the quotes is that we (parents) really do owe them everything (well nearly eveything) and they really don't owe us anything. Bet that annoys you, but you should read it as it explains it all and you will know where she is coming from........ I agree with the wine!
