I think they vary too much to say, am - depends on age, length of round, morning or afternoon, where you live etc.

Ring some of your local newsagents and ask a) how much and b) any vacancies.

ds1 used to do one. Paid £25 for about 25 papers every morning and six evenings. The Sunday papers are horrible because of all the extras. Good tips at Christmas though.

ds2 is doing one at the moment too. His is just evenings Mon-Sat and Sun morning. This one is about 20 papers and pays £12. Ds2's is direct from the newspaper company itself (local rag)- no newsagent.

It is a bad time of year to start but a good time to find jobs!

DS1 had quite a long round - the paper shop used to drop bundles of papers for him to pick up because it was too far to go back to the shop. Can't remember how much money he was paid but he got great tips at Christmas.

dd did one for a couple of months - had to give up when she started upper school though as she wouldn't have finished in time in the mornings.

She did 6 mornings a week (no Sundays) - I think about 20 papers or so and on Sats had all the inserts which made it about half an hour longer. She got £12 per week.
