I've just listened to this:
www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00x95hy
They interview adults who were sent to prison as children for killing someone, and the programme explains what happens within the restorative justice system. It reminded me what a humane, civilised society really means!
I thought it was very well-balanced and informative, and tremendously inspiring.
I just hope Cameron keeps his scissors away from it, because getting these young people back on track benefits us all as a society, and I'm sure it saves us money in the long term.
