Teen stretch marks?

My DD had a sudden growth spurt and now has stretch marks in the skin across her back. Is this common? And is there a way of making the marks fade?

I got them on my inner thigh in my teens. I wasn't overweight (then) and I believe it's quite common.

Aren't there loads of new fangled oils and potions to fade stretch marks now?

they will fade naturally with time as it is a part of growing up

try bio oil if she is very bothered or cocoa butter is supposed to be good

Oh, I had them. My weight used to fluctuate a lot (anywhere between a 12 and a 16!). They faded/blended in with my very very pale skin over time. You can't really see them now, though you can feel them a tiny bit. Palm's Cocoa Butter helps - not to mention smells gorgeous and makes you feel great too!
