an internet chat site being used by teens and others to intimidate, bully, insult etc. anonymously. Should I tell the school as my daughter has had nasty messges posted about her by someone who knows her in school. I don't want a backlash abainst her.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes do, formspring is nasty and bad things happen because of it.

Please, please try and get your daughter to delete her page.

it is a horrid forum, I remember DS having dome trouble on a while back(not now as he is 18)
I would tell the school

What the bloody hell is this? Never heard of it tbh, can someone explain (can't access site via work laptop)

Peig · 30/09/2010 13:53

Thanks - I won't say any more as I don't want to raise the profile of the site by discussing it on line.

Tell the school definitely. FWIW, me and my mates use it but we are all in uni or college so I've personally had no problems.

Can only echo that, do tell them although I would ask them to deal with that discreetly and not reveal your daughter's identity.

I had a similar issue a while back with unpleasant stuff posted on Facebook and did exactly that. It was dealt with very successfully without revealing where the complaint had come from
