I have a ds whose bedroom is above dd - a year apart in age. When DS starts to masturbate im sure dd will hear and ive not clue what to do as i think it will annoy! a freind of mine some time ago had similar issue and it really annoyed her other child- she said to be quiet - recognising right to do it,but it did not always work !! im quite shy and i dont know how id deal with this.My childresn are quite argumentative at mo and i can anticipate trouble so- whilst there is not script to this or many parent stuff- id really appriciate others experince and advice!i wd say to my other child of course that its normal etc !! its just handling the sit!!

why would they hear ? on separate floors

ShirleyKnot · 27/09/2010 10:23

What on Earth?

Hullygully · 27/09/2010 10:24

Do try harder.

titchy · 27/09/2010 10:37

Don't worry love - I'm sure your sister can't hear - wank away! (Make sure you clean up after yourself though - don't want your mum having to do it.) Wink

GypsyMoth · 27/09/2010 10:39

lol, listen at you lot! this is actually a regular poster..someone who posts alot,so think its genuine!

AMumInScotland · 27/09/2010 10:40

Teach your daughter how to masturbate too - then they'll each annoy the other equally.

AMumInScotland · 27/09/2010 10:50

Seriously, when most people start to masturbate, they are embarrassed about doing it, and do their utmost to keep it quiet, so I doubt he'll be doing it loud enough to disturb your daughter. If he does, one comment from her about "you were noisy in bed, stop jumping about like that" will embarrass him into being even more careful in future.

I don't think you need to have any conversations with either of them about it, though I'd suggest getting each of them an age-appropriate book if you aren't comfortable with talking about this stuff to them, as they do need to get some information from somewhere and its better to be accurate than playground gossip.

how about them swapping rooms?? noise may not carry much?

BitOfFun · 27/09/2010 11:00

You want our experiences? Well, in this house we all wank furiously, so we've had to get a specialised firm in to sound-proof every room. It cost about twenty grand, but the bank will add it to your mortgage if you explain what it's for.

HTH.

linconlass · 27/09/2010 11:04

bitof fun- maybe its your humour- but i was worring about this and im not sure why you feel the need to mock me ? - if you are !! if not i stand corrected and apologise!!

Hullygully · 27/09/2010 11:06

We have a garden-only wank policy here.

ShirleyKnot · 27/09/2010 11:11

Look.

It's a non issue. When your DS starts wanking, he will not be stamping on the floor screaming "OH GOD YESSSSSS!! YESSSS! I LOVE WANKING!"

Stop worrying, it'll be fine.

lilmamma · 11/10/2010 23:12

I have three sons and a daughter, and must admit I have never heard any of them doing anything, why would she hear anyway, unless he is going totally mad,and bashing the headboard as he goes !! :)

JiggeryPopery · 11/10/2010 23:17

wait till she hears him

she will take the piss or admonish him loudly enough to cause him to near die of embarrassment

then he'll find a way to do it quietly

problem solved

louii · 11/10/2010 23:19

Sorry but stealth is required by the teenage wanker, they don't want anyone to know.

U may also start to get him to strip his own bed and wash it as you will not want to be dealing with that!
