13yr old DS, Best way to remove facial hair?

DS1 is 13 and has a moustache growing and now the hair is longer, he wants to get rid of it.
What is the best way for him to do this?
I'm a single Mum and have no idea about shaving facial hair! His Dad is pretty useless so not sure about asking him!

Is his Dad clean shaven? If so then this should be the subject for him!

With a razor?

Get a decent one, eg Gillette, so that he doesn't cut himself.

DS uses a Gillette razor and shaving foam. His dad was away when he started shaving, so I told him to follow the instructions on the razor package, and he did fine. It's really not difficult and ds looked so much nicer once he'd got rid of the bumfluff

Suzie Yes he is. Think he uses an electric one but used to use a razor.

Will get DS1 one and some shaving foam i think. Wasn't sure if razor was best option or not.
My little boy is growing up too fast!

My DS 14 has one of those fusion battery operated ones with shaving foam, which he has been using for about a year now.

He now towers over me and i have a very good view under his chin and I can see 4 or 5 hairs growing, really irritates me, I want to pluck them out, He doesn't seem to realise he can shave those off as well.

My DS was 12 when he had strong facial hair. We bought razors and shaving foam. As his bearded father has very limited experience of shaving, I suggested that DS practiced on a small patch on his legs to get the 'feel' of the razor. It worked really well. Good luck!

my son found that shaving gel was easier to use than foam as he could still see his face through it. it wont be long before he gets the hang of it.
if he is going to use aftershave...remind him not to slap it on straight afterwards.......it stings bad apparantly!
personally id advise him not to bother.

Have bought razor and gel this week. (didn't have enough money last week!).
Now he is asking for spot stuff!
