Locked out of Instagram

I have had a message from Instagram to say they have locked me out due to suspicion of my account being hacked.

I have tried to contact them but no response at all. Has any one had any success in their account being reinstated?

Are you actually locked out of your account? I’d be wary that the message is a phishing attempt. Don’t follow any links within the message (email?) and deal directly with the Instagram app.

Hi Silence thank you for replying. Yes, I am completely locked out and without trace on Instagram at the moment. No response from Instagram.

When you say “locked out” do you mean that your log in details aren’t working or that when you login with them it’s telling you your account is locked? No advice at that point as to actions you can take eg reset password, recover account etc?

When I went to sign in there was a message to say my page has been removed due to suspicion of hacking.I am not able to log in at all now and when I asked a family member to look for my page it is no longer there.

I had clicked on the link you sent me but unfortunately it kept sending me round in circles, for example it said I needed to use the device I use for Instagram before they will let me go any further, but the only device I have ever used for Instagram is this same phone.
