HIVE Persistent low battery

Had a message our thermostat had low battery last week. Have changed batteries to a fresh set several times since, rebooted the hub after changing them, but still showing low. Any ideas please?

Are you using rechargeable batteries? We were told not to use them, and that we should use high quality batteries such as Duracell, not cheap ones.

Just bought fresh Duracell earlier and still the same

Will buy some Duracell plus tomorrow in case it is that fussy!

Weirdly today the battery light has reverted to normal!

Often worth checking the batteries with a decent tester, then at least you can be sure it's not the batteries.

It has saved me loads of aggravation.
