Any knowledgeable person explain why the cache should be causing problems for MN users and resulting in 404 errors?

Just that really.
I feel if I understood id be less frustrated.
I've googled what the cache is in an effort to try and understand
It seems to store bits relating to websites locally ( whatever that means ) so that sites load quickly and ..something .
But why would that cause 404 error messages when trying to access MN?

No idea but I have the same issue, on phone and laptop.

Oh I thought I was the only one! Mine will only work in incognito mode. No idea what a cache is.
