Steam - family groups

Hi

I’m trying to set up a Family group in Steam so that my 13yo can have his own account but I can have family controls over it.

When I try to create one, I just get the message in a red banner “Failed to create the family. Limited accounts are not able to create a family.”

Does anyone know what this really means and how I get rid of it?

It means that Steam isn't sure whether your new account is being run by a real person or just a bot so it's limiting what you're allowed to do. The easiest way of getting past this is to add £5 to your Steam wallet.
