Wi-Fi needed short term in rental property

Any advice as to what is the best option to get Wi-Fi in a short term rental please. Selling house and moving into rental for 3-4 months until new house ready. Will be in current house and have rental flat overlapping for about a month.
How does a dongle work? Is this a good option? I really am clueless. Can I just switch with my current provider? Obviously don’t want to sign a new contract with anyone as only there for a short period

A dongle uses a mobile phone network, so will be as good as the signal and that networks capacity

Consider it like enabling a hot spot on your phone then tethering laptops to the hot spot.

Had Similar situation and used current provider just notified them of change of address. I do remember many phone calls and a few days without Wi-Fi as they did whatever they have to do to switch/send equipment. In the meantime we were able to hotspot off our mobiles which depending on your phone contract could be a good option.

You need a wifi router with a sim slot and a PAYG data only sim. You can probably get a router off ebay, then sell it on when you don't need it. Much easier than tethering.

Honestly, for just 3–4 months, I’d avoid signing a whole new broadband contract if you can.

A mobile Wi-Fi router/dongle is probably the simplest option. Setup is usually easy and there’s no engineer visit or long contract to deal with.

If you already have decent mobile signal there and you’re mostly browsing or streaming normally, it should work fine short term.

Personally, I’d probably just do the mobile router option rather than moving broadband providers around for such a short stay.
