So tonight I was on my phone when suddenly the keyboard vanished and Ive been spending hours getting really annoyed trying to find out whats happened to it. The phone is only four months old. Ive been unable to switch it off for about three months. Also when I go into gmail I cant get onto my other account as the app just stops and disapears. I have bought another phone the same and am tempted to buy another for when this new one inevitably goes wrong. Anyone any ideas please? Ps, its a MotoE15. Im using our laptop to write this but its awkward in bed.

Fix Disappearing Keyboard: If the keyboard does not appear, go to Settings > System > Keyboard to select a default, or restart the device.

Thank you, Ive managed to access my other account from this but unable to switch the phone off {Ive tried doing what it says and it still wont switch off}, Ive bought another as I like the phone and am used to it, its just that its suddenly got a disappearing keyboard

Try working through Professor Google's advice again in the morning, after you've rested 🙂

Failing that, one of those repair shops should be able to sort it for you in minutes.
