I went into the Apple shop to buy and try out the Sandisk recommended IT Creator ssd for iPhones and MacBooks. I had both my macbook and phone with me, but not even two sales assistants were able to get it to work after almost an hour of trying. Goggle eventually came up with the answer that it was incompatible with latest OIS upgrade and who knows why with the iphone.
I want to be able to save video directly to the external drive, so any advice is greatly appreciated as even Crucial 9X pro has mixed reviews for this purpose.
