hi all wondering if anyone has ideas please. Our house sale fell through 48 hours before it was due to go through (devastating) we had already registered a house move with Sky.
I informed them but they said it will take 7 days minimum to be reconnected 😔 I work from home normally so this is a bit difficult! Are there still dongle things you can use or has anyone used EE WiFi? I see it coming up but I don’t know if it’s any good…. I used dongles YEARS ago but they were shockingly bad. Thanks.

Can you use the data from your mobile phone plan? I have used it on data roaming & it works well.

Dongles still are shocking bad. If your phone has a tethering option, use that to connect laptops and so on to the internet.

tethering to your phone might be acceptable if you have a 5G signal and sufficient speed. But be aware of what your data plan is with your phone contract.

Or you could buy a Starlink receiver dish from Currys if you have one local, you'll have to check the minimum contract length.

High-speed internet. Available almost anywhere on Earth.

So sorry to hear that!
When I’ve been stuck with no wifi, I’ve used my phone as a hotspot. It’s really easy, and since I have huge data allowance with my phone contract, it’s not cost me anything. Only works if you have decent phone signal.

Great thanks all! I upped my data to unlimited this month and worked out freeview with an aerial from curry’s. X
