Thermometer for children that’s actually accurate!

Just that really, I know the Braun Thermoscan is the most recommended and I have that one but it still gives wildly different readings after trying 3 different times to work out the average. I’ve bought so many thermometers of the last few years and I cannot find a reliable one! I realise there’s been a few threads about this but just wondering if there’s any new ones around that people rate.

I have found Braun Thermoscan reliable. If yours isn’t for you, even on a well person whose temperature will presumably be stable, I would check you are using it according to the instructions (I think it says something like point it toward the opposite eye or ear) and if so then contact the manufacturer or take it back to the retailer.
