Hi all,
Just wanted to share something I came across that might be helpful for other parents. It’s a free online safety mini-course for kids aged 8–13, created by a cybersecurity company.
It’s called CyberSquirrels (I know, the name made me smile too 🐿️), and it teaches kids:
- How to stay safe online
- Passwords & privacy
- How to deal with cyberbullying
- What to think about before posting or sharing
There are 4 short videos, it’s totally free, and there’s even a certificate and little digital badges at the end. My nephew actually found it quite fun and it sparked some good conversation about screen time and safety.
Here’s the link if anyone wants to check it out: https://beamsec.com/cybersquirrels/
Would love to know if anyone else has tried it!
