Arghhh! I hate Outlook!

Sodding, fucking Outlook! I've spent half the day trying to sort out a problem I didn't know was a thing until a customer chased me via a direct email, rather than through my website.

Can the wise folk on MN help me please?

I have a Contact Us page on my website that is meant to send the messages through to my work email address that is an info@ email. I access the emails via my desktop using Outlook (God, I hate Outlook!).

However, it's not sending them. I've tested it myself today and spoken to my web chappie who has sent me a list of people who have tried to reach me through the webiste recently. It's 6 in the last 3 days that I know nothing about!

He's advised that I need to:

"Check your Spam - if they are there, you will need to mark them as not spam.

Create a rule/filter that says never send [email protected] to Spam"

Does anyone know how I do this please? I've googled it and tried following the process to set a rule but I'm falling at the 1st hurdle.

Did I mention that I HATE outlook!

So you've checked spam (presumably) and the 6 missed emails are not there? If they are, you can just transfer them to your inbox by sending them to yourself. Otherwise, go to settings in junk and mark the emails. I think your techy guy should be more help to be honest. If he's set up your website to link emails, and it doesn't work, then it sounds like he hasn't done it properly.

Yes, sorry meant to say, I've checked spam and they're not in there. And the messages used to come through so I'm not sure what's changed.
My chap is saying is a global known problem with info@ email addresses 🤷

If they’re not there then there is no point in creating the rule, as all that will do is divert them from junk…but they’re not in junk!

either they are being caught by your spam filter and not delivered, or there is an error in the command between message box and email. Was it working before or is this a new system? Have you done any updates to either recently?

Outlook had a big outage yesterday, probably related to that
