Charger cable - Asus Chromebook

Doesn't charge anymore - should I just buy a new cable, or do I need to have it looked at in case there's something wrong with the port on the laptop?

Start with a new charger, cheaper than getting someone to look at it. Ensure you take it to a reputable shop for repairs

My local shop said they'd look at it for free.

Are there any high street shops where you can get a replacement cable? Do they sell them in supermarkets? What sort of price am I looking at?

What sort of cost would I be looking at if there's something wrong with the port?
