My 10 year old has recently started walking home from school. He doesn’t have a mobile and I don’t really want him to have a smart phone yet but I want to be able to contact him or him me if necessary. He’s also started asking to go to the local park with friends and I’m keen to give him freedom but find it hard not being able to contact him. So I’m looking for recommendations on a fairly basic phone but it would also be good if it has Bluetooth to connect to his hearing aids. Any suggestions?

Do you want to be able to track his location with the phone? MN have an article comparing smartphones and dumb phones and this is definitely one consideration that might sway you towards a basic smartphone.
