Resent paying Apple an extra £8.99 a month

I have amassed gajillions of photos and videos over the years. I try to be more selective about what I capture and keep nowadays but I still have 15 years of history. It’s now costing £8.99 a month in iPhone storage to keep them all, but I’m loath to delete en masse as its chapters of the kids’ lives. Meanwhile I am also paying (less) for a huge amount of OneDrive data (through Office package) that I barely use. I have an iPhone but a Windows PC. Seems silly to be paying for two lots of data storage, but I can’t figure out how to transfer everything to the OneDrive account I’m already paying for? Also where on earth does this end? If I’ve got another 50 years to live (🤞) how much will I be paying to store a lifetime’s worth of photos by the end? There has to be a better way! Sorry to be a technophobe but grateful if anyone has any advice.

Get an external hard drive. Put it on there and stop these fuckers ripping you off.

I agree with the suggestion above - transfer them into an external hard drive (or two if you are concerned about losing photos and want belt and braces).
