Is the end nigh for my phone?

And is there anything I can do to save it?

It’s a 2020 iphone se and recently it’s been constantly freezing. It’s only for a few seconds at a time and it does sort itself but it’s bloody annoying.

I know 4 years old is decently old but I resent having to spend money on a new one when it still in good condition in the outside, the battery still lasts well and I only own the thing out of necessity

Have you done all the upgrades and updates? A quick google suggests, as a second generation SE, it should be good until 2027 and will then be considered obsolete.

I would make a Genius Bar appointment if you're near an Apple Store, it might be a simple fix....
