Shared calendar

I want to get a shared calendar app with my husband to organise when we need the other to look after kids, and joint events.
Anyone using a good one? Preferably free & simple to use! Thanks!!

We each use outlook and invite each other to shared events. It's how we do it at work, too and has the advantage that our own calendars have work and home events, so we can avoid clashes

Google calendar works for us. Similar setup to @FinallyHere, we just invite each other to mutual events.

We use the google calendar app, I can't remember how we did it but we have it set to 'family' so each event automatically shows up on each of our calendars.

Time tree ticks all of your boxes.

We also use google calendar, generally works well, although DH does sometimes despair at my insistence to also keep a paper diary (especially when I forget to update the digital one 🙈)
