It's a long time since I've done this but I think you just need to connect the MP3 player to the computer then you need some sort of software that can accept the data then burn the disk from that.

Yes, the easiest way is to do this via iTunes.

Or:

https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes

It should be fairly self-explanatory how to install it. If you download it using the second link, save the file to your desktop, then find the file and double click on it, and it will install itself. You will need to click accept at various places.

Then go to the email that has the mp3 file in it, and click download. It's easiest to save the MP3 file to your desktop, or to a folder you use a lot so that you can find it easily. Your computer most likely is set to automatically download things to a folder called Downloads or My Downloads.

Once you have iTunes open, click on "File" (top right corner), then "Add File to Library". This will open a box where you can search for the MP3 that you just saved. Find the MP3 and click on it, to transfer the MP3 from your desktop into iTunes.

Once the MP3 appears in iTunes, right click it and select "Add to Playlist - New Playlist."

Then put a blank CD into the CD drive (you will need a CD burner to do this), and click "File" again, this time click "Burn Playlist to Disc" and follow the instructions.

Happy to help if you have any problems.

Sorry the button marked File is on the top LEFT corner in iTunes, not the top right! Ignore that!

@redastherose
Thank you
@TurquoiseMermaid
I officially love you, thank you so much . Saved me a three hour round trip to collect a cd ! Doing dressage to music with my pony at the weekend and realised I had left the cds at previous venue. It's about the only instance where they don't have the technology to use mp3 files and need a physical cd .
It worked, thanks to your straightforward instructions. Thanks so much
