Please can anyone in the know tell me about suggested for you on fb.

I am not on fb but partner is. He has a few suggestions of a certain subject.

Does this mean he has definitely looked at similar?

I follow/ look at quite a few animal charities and animal shelters and my feed is full of "Facebook suggested for you".

I think it is based on what you have looked at and what you follow.

I think phones also listen to you so if he's been chatting about Rugby at work, it might steer his ads towards that.

Not suggested friends, usually they're people who have you in common as a friend with others
Adverts are 100% tailored to your searches / wi-fi

Could you provide more info on what is coming up?

It is suggested for you friends, women, all bum shots

Also, can anyone tell me, say he had been looking at such things a couple of years ago, would they still come up now as suggestions?

I don't think it's concrete to be honest, I get loads of that type of spam in my Facebook message requests
