I'm an academic currently on sabbatical with family/DCs in the US and we are trying to kit ourselves out cheaply but I can't message anyone on Facebook Marketplace. Google tells me that I need to allow location on FB (done, was already there) and I've updated my FB city of residence to the US city.
Ironically I was in the US when FB started and set up my account here, but it still thinks I'm in Europe and wont' let me message US users!
Any ideas how to make FB believe I am in the US (when I actually AM in the US?)
