BT parental controls not effective

Have found that DS (13) has been accessing Pornhub etc despite it being listed as a banned website on our BT Parental Controls, which is supposed to filter out all adult content etc.

What is the best way to make our internet free as possible from adult content?

Was he using mobile data?
. Might have to remove devices

what device did he/she use to access the content? if it's an iphone or an ipad, i highly recommend completely disabling internet access and browsing 100%. it takes a little work, but it's possible:

if it was from a computer, what type of computer was it?

Get a router with good content filtering, have a look at Synology
https://www.synology.com/en-global/srm/feature/device_content_control

You can pick up used RT2600ac on flea bay for around £100

It allows you to set different access for different users, i.e. older child gets SM, but younger one doesn't etc, set schedules and quotas etc.

Other makes probably have similar features, but I have found Synology to be very good in this area.

Synology Inc.

Centralize data storage and backup, streamline file collaboration, optimize video management, and secure network deployment to facilitate data management.
