I’m tech poor so would Love some pointers!
my soon to be 10 year
old has had a hard year culminating in a diagnosis of autism. I’d like to get him a special present for his birthday and he loves gaming and you tube / Tik Tok. When I say loves, I mean is obsessed by and has no other interests.
he plays on an old Xbox that he loves and doesn’t want to change / upgrade though I’ve offered that as his gift. He doesn’t like change and says very logically that his Xbox works fine so why would he change it for a newer version? 💙
anyhoo, I have a battered old cheap tablet that he often asks to borrow to watch YouTube on in the evenings and I thought a nice gift would be his own tablet.
and this is where I need a tech wizard to advise! I don’t have a huge budget, he’s a pretty tech savvy 10 year old as it’s really all he does. Any pointers for brands
or models?
all I seem to get when I Google is Amazon fire tablets but from what I can tell they are filled with kids games and apps he definitely wouldn’t be interested in. He just wants to watch YouTube, tik tok and listen to his playlist on Spotify really!
