Facebook Hacked

Hi.
My personal & business Facebook pages plus my Messenger account have been hacked.
The hacker has changed the recovery email & phone number to theirs.
I've sent ID to Facebook as requested. But wondering if anyone has any advice?
Or know how long it took to get back I to their accounts? Or if its possible to get the accounts back.

Hi, hopefully you've got it sorted by now. In a similar position our village's main Facebook page was hacked by some people in Vietnam and they were proudly advertising the fact on the page. We went through the same ID checking process and in the end we emailed Zuckerberg directly to no avail. The end result is that we started a new page - not ideal but the silence from FB was deafening. Hopefully this was a one off and not representative of the usual service.

Hi, no not sorted at all. I've sent the requested ID to Facebook but nothing back.
I'm not hopeful I can get it back, but I really don't want to have to start again. ☹️

My DH has exactly the same situation.
The only thing they've done to his account is change his profile photo.
If he gets any joy in trying to get through to someone I'll come back and let you know.

He didn't use it much but it's more a case of his account being used in a bad way and his name being on it.

How did you get to the point of sending ID to Facebook? I don't think DH has actually got to the point of being able to do that.

We lost our business facebook page, I didn't even get an answer to the multiple messages I sent. They didn't want to know. I had to start again, and just made sure that I changed the links from our website and google business profile. And I use it a lot less... it's there in terms of having to be rather than proactively used. It really put me off doing so.

After attempting to log in it eventually gave the option of has your account been hijacked & what to do.
Still no joy. If I'm honest I think it's gone...

Yes, no response at all. Its put me off using it a lot too.
