Anyone ever made a claim on insurance and got a new phone? Who with please and was it difficult to get a new phone and did they send it to your home?

I'd have thought if your claim is successful the insurance company send you money; not a phone? In the same way car insurance companies don't send you a new car?

Specialised gadget insurance: old phone had cracked screen and wouldn't charge. Sent it off to be fixed, they couldn't fix it so sent me a brand new phone. Had to pay the excess obviously.

And yes it was collected by courier from my home and redelivered to my home too

Phone covered under bank insurance

Phone delivered and old broken one collected same day.

I have a policy with love it cover it, I think it's around £10 a month but that's for 2 phones. I had a problem with my phone and I sent it away, they said couldn't be fixed the next and then my new phone came the day after. £50 excess.

Insurance included in bank account. They've always been able to fix it.
