How to find android phone without service?

Please help!

DC (12) has lost her phone in a place where we (Vodaphone) don't have reception. Any tips on how we can find the phone please? Other networks do have reception but I suspect this is not going to help... Many thanks

Can you borrow a WiFi dongle? You could then use a laptop or phone to send a sound to it using Google "find my device". It works even if the phone is on silent.

Cookerhood that is the whole dilemma... I'm guessing we are toast and we just have to hope we spot it! But I just wondered if there was some neat trick I was missing!!

beanbagtrap no we are pretty sure we took it to this place and didn't bring it home - there is no fridge there. Where we live its very hilly and certain networks work in certain areas only..

Someone has stolen it and put it in a random fridge
