Have you naively signed up to an allegedly useful Website only to find is worthless clickbait and you cant get rid of it. Normally legitimate sites, when sending you nuisance emails give you the option to "Unsubscribe" - though you may have to hunt for it in the small print at the bottom of the page.
You would think that browsers such as Firefox would have a simple blocking feature to direct such spam to the trash bin. I find it doesnt work and these sites keep pestering you.
I propose to start a list of such rogue sites. I thought there would be a topic category on here such as "Scams" or Warnings?

Wish - a PRC trashy goods selling site - keeps pushing offers

YourXXXXXneighbor - where XXXXX is an district near you. It comes from a mysterious outfit called "Nextdoor". It contains numerous spurious messages such "Found Lost Cat" "Wallet mislaid" "Council problem" and so on. All fake of course and nothing more than clickbait to push a platform for product placement - Avoid.

Reddit - well known pest

LinkedIn - also send numerous junk mails

Anymore scam sites?

Tricks to avoid such traps will be posted if there is sufficient interest.
Remember - just cos Im paranoid - doesnt make me wrong
