I've tried to delete a contact from WhatsApp following instructions, but his profile pic and number still show! aaaaaagh! is there a way to get rid off it? I've asked him to block me which would make his pic disappear but no reply.

Block him and delete the number from your phone

Thanks, Winter I've tried that, but his profile is still there! so annoying. Blocking him means he can't see my profile, but I can still see his.
