How to take a good photo of a photo?

I have lots of photos that my mum gave me of me with my dad when I was a baby. Does anyone know the best way to take good quality photos of small photos? (7"). I would like to get some extra prints but only have one copy of the photo!

Scan them. Commercial grade copiers can do it. I have an HP multi function printer at home that scans photos. Most photo processing places can do it for you too.

I have an app Google photo scan which I use on my phone. Maybe try that.

A photo scanner will do it. It will give a good quality of your photo.
