How do you back up your photos?

How do you back up and store photos from your phone and cameras? I don’t use the iCloud which I probably should. I have a new baby and as I don’t have hard copies of the photos I want to know how to best store and protect these precious photo memories. Thanks.

Why not get the pictures bluetoothed to your computer and store them there. You could also save those pics on a pen drive and keep them safe.

Or external hard drive. And the best option is having copies on at least 2 different devices. Because one might fail at some point...

There is a 2 year gap in all the photographs we have for gorgeous daughters from when they were about seven years old. The reason being I managed to delete hundreds of them by mistake whilst backing them up, including some fantastic ones taken in 2010 when we had that heavy snowfall.
We were snowed in , in our Village for 6 days without public transport, so they have very strong memories of it but always saying why are there no photos? .....(cringe)
