DS2's bent it so I can't plug the charger in. If I take the back off I break the terms of the warranty.

Can I fix it?

Obviously not.

Can you bend it back with a cocktail stick?

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky · 25/10/2017 21:43

I'll try that in the morning Better(?)

Whoops!

Any luck?

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky · 27/10/2017 05:15

I took it to Curry's, they can't fix it, apparently they don't fix tablets, I'm taking it to the EE shop today. Fingers crossed. Halloween Grin

You might be better off going to an independent IT repair place.

Fixmylife · 27/10/2017 05:42

You may be able to charge on a flat wireless charger? DD's phone won't charge via the port and that is what she does.

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky · 27/10/2017 07:51

BikeRunSki wouldn't that break the terms of the warranty?

Fixmylife I'll look into them, thanks. 😆

Probably. I guess it depends if it is still under warranty.

Mehfruittea · 27/10/2017 07:54

I’d still under warranty the manufacturer will offer you a chargeable repair. Depends how much it cost. Who made it?

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky · 27/10/2017 08:12

Alcatel. It's an EE Robin. We got it for a product test on here.

How do wireless chargers work?

OP posts:
Fixmylife · 27/10/2017 09:31

Charger is plugged in and device just sits on top of the charging plate

Not all devices work with wireless chargers though. It all depends on what backs they have.

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky · 27/10/2017 15:06

I took it to the EE shop, they couldn't fix it, the guy told me about a guy with a stand, he's fixing it for £25, I'll pick it up on Sunday. 😆
