Building an audience for my blog

I have a blog which I use to write about beauty, makeup, fitness, food etc and would like to interact with other similar bloggers. How do I increase blog traffic and get involved with other bloggers. Years and Years ago I used to have a Xanga (anyone remember than) and I had lots of regular blog buddies but it seemed much easier on their to meet like minded bloggers

You could try the Bloggers Network on here, but it isn't very active tbh.

Other that that, I'd think that Twitter is probably your best bet to start off with. Networking on there is pretty good. Find the right hashtag and have a chat with some of the others, and you'll find your niche.
