Stuck earring (not tattoo)

Posting for traffic as I know some tattoo studios have piercers and I’m desperate for advice. Please move the thread if there’s a better place for this question!

DC had their ears pierced and when it was time to take the earrings out, one has unscrewed fine but the other is stuck. Not stuck in the ear, but the actual ball is stuck to the stick.

We have tried:
gloves
warm compress
Pliers
Piercing ball grabber
lubrication
warmth

it won’t unscrew like the other one. It won’t budge an inch. We have been trying for weeks! Spoke to several piercers who recommended the above. No one seems to know what to do 😓

What do we do? Can we go anywhere to get it cut? The idea is terrifying but I think it’s the only way….

I would have a go at cutting it with something like this (but I am quite gung ho!).

Can you go back to the original piercer and ask them if they can attempt to remove it? This won't have been the first time they've come across this I am sure and they might have colleagues who are a dab hand at remedying this kind of situation.

Just take her back to the piercer, this happened to one of my Dds the piercer got it out

I had a stuck ear ring a while ago. On the advice of Mumsnet I went to a tattoo/piercing place (that was a revelation, I can tell you!) someone there removed it easily and quickly. I’d give that a try.
