Bump by helix

I had my helix pierced in May, a few weeks ago a lump developed just by the hole. I changed the piercing for the bar that was used to pierce it but it doesnt seem to be getting better. The lump is hard, there is a tiny bit of oozing but not much.
Does anyone know what this might be?

I had this. It was a small infection. I sorted it by using hot compresses (cotton wool soaked in warm salty water) until the oozing stopped & it healed up. The bump went away too at this point. Make sure you keep any crust formed by the ooze cleared away as this allows more ooze to exit rather than build up & cause a problem.

It sounds like an irritation bump. I would just make sure you keep it clean and don’t fiddle with it - also make sure to dry it properly after you clean it or shower etc.
